I am super excited to share with you one of my favorite little girl pretend toys this year. I always loved playing with make up...I still do! My girls have been known to enjoy an afternoon playing beauty shop. I rarely allow playing with make up because of the mess and I am not thrilled with the look of a little girl in lipstick and eye shadow. But, like my son enjoys football and grilling (hee hee) my girls are drawn toward the pink side of feminity.

What My Girls Think of Little Cosmetics

I have three girls ages 14, 7, and 3. My teenager loved playing beauty shop with her sisters using Little Cosmetics. She was able to entertain them without ending up a deadringer for Bozo the Clown. My little ones were delighted that make up play was no longer limited to when mommy felt like sharing or had time for major clean up. The products look and feel real. My oldest was surprised when she tried to apply it and nothing happened. I will be honest, I thought the make up being fake would make it less popular with my girls. However, once I mentioned it was fake they both got excited. They had free reign to pretend on themselves, their dolls, the dog, and me!
