I love to snack. When I am working or watching a movie I immediately want to munch on something. I never buy chips because I could sit and eat the whole bag. Since I don't care for the that much it is a waste of fat and calories. I could eat a pint of ice cream or sorbet if I allowed myself. I am quite certain I do not have to tell you the danger in that. So, I look for healthy snacks. But chewing up carrots, as good as they are for you, are not always what I am craving. Sometimes I want something herby or savory without eating high fat or carbs.
A solution is a new product by Pillsbury called Baguette Chips. The Baguette Chips come in two savory flavors; Italian Cheese and Herb and Cheddar Sun Dried Tomato. I had the opportunity to try both through my association with My Blog Spark. The Baguette Chips arrived today so me and my family tried both kinds. We loved both! I honestly cannot decide which I liked better. My younger girls loved the Italian Cheese and Herb better. We had grilled steak for dinner with salad. I decided to throw the Baguette Chips in the salad instead of croutons. It was delicious. I imagine they would be great in soup, as the site says, but it is much too hot to try that now.
