Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot!

Growing up, I loved the Care Bears.  My love for these cute little bears never diminished.  I am a sucker for all things Care Bear.  My little girl, Kara, will even answer to Kare Bear!  So when I had the opportunity to host a Care Bear: Welcome to Care-a-Lot party I was thrilled!  I could not wait to see the brand new episode of the Care Bears.  I just knew my 7 and 3 year old would love it as well.

The Care Bears are Back

Did you know that this year is the 30th anniversary of the Care Bears?  Hub found the best way to celebrate;  a new CG animated series of the Care Bears called Care Bears:  Welcome to Care-a-Lot.  You can watch it every Saturday morning at 8am.  A great way to start out the weekend!  The bears may have an updated look but they are just as cute as ever.  The new series is based on the original so it will be fun for you and your kids.

Welcome to Care-a-Lot Party

Our party was filled with excitement, fun food and activities.  It was also generously provided by Mommy Parties and The Hub TV Network.  The kids loved coloring special pages with Care Bear crayons while watching a special screening of the brand new show!  I don't think I ever saw crayons and bears cause such joy and excitement.  Of course no one can resist Cheer Bear's Rainbow Cheer Punch or a game of Musical Clouds.

 Rainbow Cheer Punch!

We also took a little poll to see who the favorite Care Bear is among the little ones...and the moms!

CHEER BEAR was the winner!  {My personal favorite also!}

WONDERHEART BEAR was the favorite among the tinier little guests!  She is the youngest and newest bear on the block and is sure to be loved by all.
