 Releases this month!

This month the 4th DVD in the series, What's in the Bible?, will be released.  I had the opportunity to review this delightful DVD by the makers of Veggie Tales.  I am very happy to introduce you to this next installment in the series.  Honestly, I had not heard of this series before and now I will be purchasing the three which came before by the request of my children.

My Son's Review (10 years old):

What's in the Bible? is a video only to be watched by kids who love funny jokes, music you sing along with, and characters that have a way of teaching about the "Greatest Book ever Created" without you even knowing it.  I learned so much.  I learned that the book of Joshua is divided into four sections and its in the historical group of books in the Bible.

I could not pick one favorite character because they were all so entertaining and educating to watch and listen to.  But I did love the Safari Dudes!

What's in the Bible? is definitely just as great as Veggie Tales.  I would for sure watch the rest of the series.

My Review:

This DVD was a big hit with all my kids.  I have four kids ages 12, 10, 5, and 2.  Each happily watched the whole DVD and each learned something.  Now, even my 12 year old cynic laughed and thought this was cute.  I cannot impress upon you how much that is saying.  My 10 year old son thinks everything of this nature is too kiddie but loved this and learned from it.  The DVD tackles questions kids would ask about the Bible masterfully.  When What's in the Bible? was over the conversations started proving this to be a valuable tool for families who want to explore the Bible together.  This is a great way to start a family devotion time or to use in Sunday School.  The DVD is entertaining enough for all ages.  When your child graduates from Veggie Tales (sniff sniff) this is the series to grab next.

I don't think we'll ever outgrow VeggieTales, because mommy likes it too much. :) I'd like to check this out too, though...
